Jennifer Girth, DC, AVCA, IVCA, NRCME, SAAT

Dr. Jennifer Girth has been a lifelong resident of the Pittsburg/ Frontenac area. She received her Associates of Sciences degree from Fort Scott Community College in 2002. She later received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Cleveland Chiropractic College in addition to earning a Doctor of chiropractic degree in 2007. She's earned specialties in Pro-Adjuster, Diversified, Gonstead, Acupuncture, DTS, Animal Chiropractic care, Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment, Auricular Therapy & Auricular Medicine.

Giving back to the community is very important to Dr. Girth. She has a vision to enhance wellness in people's lives by empowering them to connect to themselves and get back to basic wellness practices. Dr. Girth also has a passion for helpin ganimals and received her certification in Animal Chiropractic in June 2006. She is certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association and International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. She loves working with all animal types especially horses and dogs. She is a current tester for International Veterinary Chiropractic Association and tests in the United States and Germany for them.

Dr. Girth is also a certified medical examiner for DOT physicals. She is certified with FMCSA and is a part of the National Registered Certified Medical Examiners practitioner list. 

In 2023 Dr. Girth wanted to further her education and get certified in the Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT), which this treatment can be used to treat all types of allergies including seasonal, food, environmental and Alpha-Gal. It is one of the only known treatments that can help and even eliminate the food sensitivities due to the Alpha-Gal. After completing her SAAT from Dr. Soliman she also decided to go ahead and complete the Auricular Therapy and Auricular Medicine courses. Dr. Girth is certified in the SAAT procedure and is in the process of getting her certification for Auricular Therapy and Auricular Medicine.

Emilee Porter, LMT

A Pittsburg native, Emilee graduated from Professional Massage Training Center in 2013 and strives to give the best care to clients where ever she has practiced. From working with other Massage Therapists and gaining experience working under Dr. Jennifer Girth as an LMT. She takes each and every opportunity to be challenged and constantly learning new techniques that further her career and abilities in massage therapy to help her clients. Emilee practices Swedish Massage, soft tissue mobilization, trigger point therapy, Reflexology as well as other modalities.Her focus is to bring relaxation and wellness to each client by tailoring the massage to suit their needs. Emilee is a firm believer in the inseparable connection between body and mind, she is a proponent of massage for relieving physical as well as emotional stress, and strongly believes believes in massage as a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being.

 

Roxy Blessent

Roxy received her BS in biology from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, KS in 1988. A lifetime advocate of natural wellness processes, she learned reflexology in 1974. She received her certification for Reconnective Therapies 2010; her Reiki Master and Tuning Fork Therapy certification in 2011; and her Holistic Wellness Practioner diploma from Southwest Institute of Healing Arts Remedies. She has been a public practitioner since 2010 and is a member of the Healing Touch Professional Organization. Her passion is assisting people in finding their natural body/ life balance for optimal well-being.
